I don't disbelieve human trace gas emissions drive global warming. I know they don't.
Here is why.
The Sun is the source of almost 100% of the energy that we understand as light and heat. The atmosphere reduces the incoming energy to a level that enables life to exist. The atmosphere is mainly nitrogen~78%, oxygen~21% and water vapour up to 4%, the principal trace gasses being argon, 0.93%; carbon dioxide, 0.03% and aerosols that include pollen, spores and dust. The heat we feel is from electomagnetic radiation transferring energy to molecules that pass on the energy by contact with other molecules or re-emitting radiation. The equator is the hottest part of the planet because the solar radiation is received vertically. The angle increases moving away from equator so the same radiation is received by a larger surface area through more of the atmosphere. Seasons are caused by the planet tilt that causes the angle of radiation received to vary.
The surface receives energy that the atmosphere is transparent to, or that is re-emitted, mostly visible light but significant levels of high energy invisible light such as ultraviolet, x-rays and other frequencies also get through and warm the surface, mostly water that covers ~70% of the planet. Land absorbs energy to a very shallow depth due to its opacity and density while solar radiation penetrates oceans up to * ** metres and is the main heat reservoir. Land loses gained heat rapidly, oceans loses it more slowly. The volume of stored and released heat is evidenced by the hottest days being several weeks later than the longest day. A small change in the energy going into the oceans has a large impact on atmosphere temperature. Cloudiness and the clarity of the atmosphere
Because the planet is much cooler than the Sun, it releases the energy at longer wavelengths in the infrared range. Evaporation and conduction are other means of energy transfer. The oceans move energy as heat around the planet and release it according to the temperature next to the water surface.
