Gang Green News
The Renewable Fuels Association posted a note today deploring the recent lawsuit by the American Petroleum Institute over the EPA decision to increase the maximum blend wall for ethanol in conventional gasoline by 50% from E10 to E15. They claim that it is motivated by “corporate greed.”
Oil companies are in the business of refining oil and selling gasoline to consumers. They aren’t in the business (well, some of them are at this point having bought ethanol plants) of producing and selling ethanol — they don’t make money from it. What would Coca-Cola say if the FDA began mandating that Coca-Cola begin blending increasing percentages of an off-brand cola into their product in order to give the off-brand a guaranteed market share? I suspect they wouldn’t be too happy with this and would fight to be allowed to sell their product as it is, without required additives. / link
White House Science Scandal Obfuscated with Creative Grammar
[...] “The White House rewrote crucial sections of an Interior Department report to suggest an independent group of scientists and engineers supported a six-month ban on offshore oil drilling, the Interior inspector general says in a new report.
[...] So, the sexed up report implied something that wasn’t true — that ’science’ and not ideology drove the numb-skulled left-wing fever dream of a drilling moratorium still effectively ravaging the Gulf Coast’s economy — an ‘implication’ which was nowhere to be found in the original report before the political and ideological spinmasters were called in late the night before the White House issued its sexed up document. They moved some language around…’implying’ a politically desirable conclusion that was patently untrue.
I thought it impossible to be lower than a politician but "green" politicians are setting a new record.
On California's rush to bankruptcy:
California’s AB 32 Still on the Hot Seat (Prop 23 Defeat Based on Economic Fallacy)
[...] In the face of such isolation on “doing something” about climate, proponents of the massive regulatory scheme (opponents of the proposition) began promoting ‘facts’ that somehow implementation of AB 32 would lead to an influx of ‘green jobs’ in the market.
Jobs, jobs, jobs–a new New Deal for California.
Even from the viewpoint of the ‘greens’ on ‘green jobs’, the employment impact of government-dependent employment will not be significant anytime soon. A recent study by the American University Investigative Reporting Workshop found for all the massive investment by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act in wind and solar energy, the bulk of dollars spent and jobs created end up overseas in countries like Denmark, Germany, China and Japan where manufacturing of these technologies occurs.
Cameron and Huhne know this of course...
The Good News
Gas glut threatens investment in renewables sector, IEA warns
A global gas glut which could last a decade will act as a "major barrier" to the development of renewable energy, cleaner coal plants and nuclear power, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
"The golden age of gas" will lead to cheaper gas prices for consumers, particularly in Europe. But the IEA added that it is also likely to result in a rush to build gas-fired power plants at the expense of much cleaner forms of electricity generation. (Guardian)
‘No climate talks in future if Cancun fails’
India on Wednesday said the developing countries would find it difficult to continue climate negotiations if second commitment period for Kyoto Protocol is not ratified at the next climate summit in Mexico starting this month. India’s stand emanates from deliberations at a recent meeting of Group of 77 (G-77) countries plus China in Mexico. (Hindustan Times)
Real Clean Coal: Japan’s Unit #2 Isogo Plant
[...] Unit 2 at J-POWER’s Isogo Thermal Power Station is an exemplar for low emission coal-fired plants. The second unit at the plant entered commercial service in July 2009, so the plant has been in operation for about 18 months. The 600-MW ultrasupercritical unit 2 joins an earlier, similar plant built in 2002. Together, these two new plants replaced 1960s-vintage coal-fired plants and doubled power generation from the small project site. In addition, the new unit improves the plant’s gross thermal efficiency to about 45%, while reducing air emissions to those of a gas-fired combined-cycle plant.

Wake up UK
The parasite industry is booming. Because for some "green" organisations, far from aiding the climate it is merely a way of getting unearned income. On the opposite side, those against the EPA legislation based on lies that CO2 is a pollutant, challenges to federal action (91 cases, 27%) make up the largest category of cases.
Here is the state of play regarding climate related litigation according to the bankster's advisors:
“Dramatic Increase” in Climate Litigation - Deutsche Bank (Accompanying article)
Another reason for the Deutsche bank to be proselytising on behalf of gang green is tax evasion (all in a good cause you understand).
Emission rights were bought from foreign companies and were sold via a chain of corporations for the purpose to evade value-added tax.
It would appear that you don't need to construct churches to commit faith-based fraud these days /link
Talking of parasites and fraud: EU accounts are rejected for the sixteenth year in a row
Stephen Booth, analyst at the Open Europe think tank, said: ‘This is a hugely embarrassing annual tradition and it remains absolutely unacceptable.’ [for the 16th time?]
In common with the UN the disastrous millstone black hole should be dismantled. It is of no use to honest people. It is of use to politicians, banksters, federalists and globalists.
Cameron's remarkable friends:
Israeli government documents show deliberate policy to keep Gazans at near-starvation levels
Documents, whose existence were denied by the Israeli government for over a year, have been released after a legal battle led by Israeli human rights group, Gisha. The documents reveal a deliberate policy by the Israeli government in which the dietary needs for the population of Gaza are chillingly calculated, and the amounts of food let in by the Israeli government measured to remain just enough to keep the population alive at a near-starvation level. This documents the statement made by a number of Israeli officials that they are "putting the people of Gaza on a diet".

On Grantham Institute's attack mouse Bob Ward
Bob's reputation in Oz
The Grantham Institute [whose emission of deceivers includes N. Stern] should take a close look at their Director of Communications, Bob Ward. In the last few weeks in Australia he has been complicit in so many untruths that it should have a flow-on consequence for them in their dealings with the media.
So says Graham Young, an Australian journalist writing in an article entitled Why you should be careful dealing with Bob Ward, Director of Communications for the Grantham Institute.
It's a consensus: Every year's climate hoax talks are the Earth's "last chance"
2010: Climate Change Talks in Cancun a `Last Chance' for Gases Deal, Ramesh Says - Bloomberg
Global-warming talks later this month are the “last chance” for countries to reach an agreement on cutting emissions of gases blamed for rising temperatures, India’s environment minister said today.
“The credibility of the entire climate change negotiating system is at stake,” Jairam Ramesh told reporters at a meeting in Delhi. “If we do not get a set of operational and meaningful decisions at Cancun everybody will be sick and tired of us.”
2009 Copenhagen: Last chance - Times Online
It has been billed as the last-chance saloon; a final opportunity for the world to seal a deal to prevent catastrophic climate change.
With only 44 days to go until the meeting in Copenhagen, the world is waiting to see if its politicians can deliver, and live up to the hype.
2008 Poznan: Last chance
The Polish city of Poznan, host of this week's vital climate change talks, may become known as the place where the Earth was saved – or doomed
Summing up what many scientists, environmentalists and politicians now think about the threat of climate change is simple: the world is drinking in the last chance saloon.
2007 Bali : Last chance - Lena Ek
TALKS on a new international agreement on climate change are at a ”make or break” stage, Environment Minister John Gormley said yesterday.
Mr Gormley said it was the ”last chance saloon” for more than 180 countries to pledge to negotiate a deal on cutting emissions.
Speaking at the conference in Bali he said: ”The time for rhetoric is over.
We're Serious This Time
Gordon Brown said the following in the lead-up to the Copenhagen climate conference last year:
There are now fewer than 50 days to set the course of the next 50 years and more. If we do not reach a deal at this time, let us be in no doubt: once the damage from unchecked emissions growth is done, no retrospective global agreement in some future period can undo that choice. By then it will be irretrievably too late.
In advance of the Cancun climate conference in a few weeks, India's Jairam Ramesh says:
We are running out of time, Cancun is the last chance. The credibility of the climate-change mechanism is at stake.
What I think he must mean is that Cancun is the last chance . . . until South Africa 2012, which will be the last chance until . . . (Roger Pielke Jr.)
The LIA ended around 1850 and since the temperature has cyclically risen and fallen with an underlying positive temperature increase around 0.6C per century.
Science advocating AGW informs us that the 100 years following the LIA was natural and the last 60 years was due to human emissions of CO2.
Data from ice cores show temperature variation preceding CO2 variation, that shows CO2 cannot be a T driver, however because the variation is correlated, a common factor determines both. Solar emissions regulated by ozone, cloud, ice and aerosols acting on the oceans.
The geologic record shows that the planet has experienced sustained levels of CO2 over 3000ppm without any runaway effect.
CAGW is nonsense.
What of a first order effect - AGW as opposed to CAGW?
Since the end of the LIA there have been 3 periods of increasing temperature, each of statistically identical amplitude and rate of warming. The latest is credited to humans without any credible evidence. Were common sense and logic the order of the day, the same factor for earlier warming periods would be blamed. But it is difficult to use that as an excuse to tax, sell carbon credits, impose counterproductive boondoggles, reduce freedom and impose an eco fascist world government.
There is no signal of GHG warming in the tropical troposphere. It simply doesn't exist. AGW is denied a physical mechanism to warm the planet.
There is no credible evidence to support AGW.
And there is no physical evidence to support CAGW, it should be taken off the menu.
Because the allegation fails the acid test belief in CAGW can only be explained as an act of faith.
With that in mind the transcript of the Muir Russell/Acton/Trevor Davies oral evidence at the HoC Select Committee on Science and Technology is now online here.
