EXCLUSIVE: UN Allied with Terrorism Over Deliberate Malpractice in Kafarya & Foua
21st Century Wire  Exclusive By Vanessa Beeley February 19, 2016

Yesterday we reported the good news that Russia had brokered a deal with the US to allow Humanitarian aid to finally enter the western- backed terrorist besieged villages of Kafarya and Foua.  While the sun never sets on the Madaya propaganda, these two villages have been left in the shade by mainstream media, International aid organisations, the UN and “regime change” intent Western governments.
Today, however,  we received the following distressing statement from the Specialist Hospital in al Foua:

"Statement by the Specialist Hospital of AlFua and the People of the Besieged
Towns of AlFua and Kefraya on the Recent UN Humanitarian Aid Delivery"
Residents of the two towns besieged by al-Qaeda terrorist gangs received, with a great deal of hope, the news of an international agreement in Munich, regarding the facilitation of humanitarian aid deliveries to the besieged areas.  The hope came after a long-standing series of disappointments due to irresponsible behaviour, mistakes and the bad practices of the International organizations concerned.
Accumulated instances of malpractice have led us to conclude that these organisations have deliberately penalised the residents of Kafarya and Foua.
The hopes of the hungry children and the elderly patients quickly faded and were downtrodden as the roar of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent trucks arriving in our towns subsided and we saw the poor quality of the goods being delivered.  Many of the items were damaged or perished.  Many of the supplies had to be destroyed as they were useless.  Equally many of the items essential to ensure the continuation of hospital work and to meet civilian’s basic needs were simply not delivered.
We, in the only hospital in the towns, and on behalf of our suffering people, call the United Nations and its representative in Syria, Mr Staffan de Mistura, to listen to the following:
The United Nations and its affiliated organizations are not dealing realistically with the needs of the population. They seem to act in accordance with programs designed for other regions of the world that suffer from entirely different problems. Mr. de Mistura please take note that we are in Syria, in a rich and generous land surrounded by militants belonging to globally classified terrorist groups. We are not in Somalia suffering from famine caused by drought and desertification. We emphasize that the continuation of this policy and the ignoring of our repeated requests [ that are transmitted through officially adopted channels of communication] is forcing us to conclude that these policies are deliberate and are stemming from malicious intent rather than just negligence and irresponsibility.
International Organizations consistently ignore very specific and clear needs and are assiduously failing to meet those needs time after time. Especially for some medical supplies and essential medicines, like the anaesthesia drugs, sterilization and hygiene products. Our medical staff are wondering if they are expected to conduct surgical operations in the hospital without anaesthesia. Or is the hospital destined, by you, to become the incubator for the spread of infections rather than as a centre for healing them?
The hospital is also surprised by the lack of supplies of diabetes medications in particular, especially insulin, as well as anti-hypertensive drugs, diuretics and many other chronic disease medications. Would you, Mr de Mistura accept this situation for your own family or loved ones?  Do you feel good when the health conditions of our diabetic patients gradually deteriorate to a slow death.  A tragedy that has already befallen people in our besieged towns.
As for our suffering children, our medical staff here are demanding to know why, for 10 months, you have not supplied any vaccines. We know that these International Organisations supply these simple vaccines globally, even during peace time.  We know that they distribute them on a regular basis to residents in the surrounding areas who live under terrorist rule.  It seems that Mr de Mistura is not aware that thousands of children trapped in our towns are at risk of getting sick from diseases that could be prevented by these vaccines, that you have consistently failed to supply.
In addition to all of the above the UN continues to provide aid that is lacking specific categories of medicine, like antibiotics, cough, cold, diarrhoea, anti-spasmodic, anti-allergy drugs, dermal ointments and diapers. Thus exacerbating our original crisis resulting from the deprivation of diesel oil.
This fuel deprivation renders it impossible to access clean, safe water and subsequently leads to the inevitable spread of disease. Transportation of the sick and wounded to hospital is a slow process, especially those injuries arising from the daily escalation of Al Qaeda violations of the established ceasefire.  Added to this are the sickness and deprivation caused by the cold weather, lack of fuel for warmth, the huge decline in agricultural production and the enforced consumption of the two towns stored resources because of the siege conditions.
May we remind you that the Syrian people are, above all, a resourceful and productive people. If you were to supply us with the fuel, that would be sufficient for many of our needs.  We can even feed our neighbours from the wheat stores and the bounty from our own land.  Currently our grain stockpiles are being consumed by mould as there is no way for us to grind and bake it.  The UN even ignored our requests for preservatives to help us to conserve it more efficiently.
Lack of supplies for our radiography unit and diagnostic laboratory have closed these departments down completely.
The quality of foodstuff supplied is appalling. Much of it is decaying or stale.  There is no diversity.  We have no vegetables, fruit, meat, sugar, tea and coffee.  These essential goods are not even included in the aid deliveries or in very low quantities.  The milk that the people in Madaya complained about being in short supply, we can confirm that supplies have been non-existent to Kafarya and Foua for many months now except for scant supplies of powdered milk.
Thus, all of the above clearly demonstrates the determination of the staff of the United Nations not to deal with us as human beings that have requests and needs that should be respected. They only want to send us what overflows from the warehouses of second rate materials without regard to our needs.
As for our response; it will definitely be the continuation of resistance and attachment to our land and our homes.  We are also determined to remain true to our cultural, religious and humanitarian identity, and to stand by our political choices. As for the representatives of the international community both individuals and organizations, they will continue to be responsible for the cynical aggravation of our suffering and in so doing, they ally themselves with the forces of darkness and terrorism against our oppressed civilians.
From the Specialist Hospital of AlFua, AlFua, Idlib, February 19, 2016"

Today we also received a message from a relative of 10 year old Najeb Ahmad Hallak, shot through the heart by the Ahrar al Sham thugs surrounding al Foua and Kafarya.  The message was very simple.
“I lose my friends.  I lose my family.  I lose my future.  I lose my dreams”

10 year old Najeb. Murdered by western backed terrorists. Kafarya & Foua

In Summary
When we read of the UN’s apparent deliberate malpractice towards the besieged and marginalised villages of Kafarya and Foua, their actions and inactions exacerbating the humanitarian situation as opposed to improving it, we have to again question the UN’s neutrality in Syria.
Their claims that it is the Syrian government preventing deliveries of humanitarian aid must be doubted in the light of this report. Particularly when those claims are also denied by Dr Al Jaafari, permanent Syrian representative to the UN, who is adamant that, in the case of Madaya, it was the UN who had logistical problems that delayed their entry into Madaya.
If nothing else we must question the humanity of any Humanitarian organisation that can wilfully destroy hope and reinforce despair.
“Humanism is the only – I would go so far as saying the final- resistance we have against the inhuman practices and injustices that disfigure human history.”  ~ Edward Said.

President Assad:

Cessation of military operations requires preventing terrorists from using it to improve their position
21st February 2016
Published by SANA
Damascus, SANA – President Bashar Assad asserted that the cessation of military operations requires preventing the terrorists from using it to improve their position, as well as preventing other countries, especially Turkey, from sending more recruits, more terrorists, more armaments, or any kind of logistical support to terrorists, adding that the Russian and the Iranian support were essential for the Syrian Army to make its advancement.
This came in an interview given by President Assad to Spanish newspaper El Pais. Following is the full text of the interview:
Question 1: You have recently allowed humanitarian aid to go into seven besieged areas. Some claim there are at least 486,000 people living in those areas, some for even more than three years. Why did this happen so late in the conflict?
President Assad: Actually, it hasn’t happened recently; it’s been there since the beginning of the crisis. We never make embargo on any region in Syria. There’s a difference between embargo and the army surrounding a certain area because of the militants, and that’s natural in such a security case or military case. But the problem with those areas is that the militants themselves took the food and the basic needs of those people, the people there, and gave it to their militants or sell it to the people with very high prices. As a government, we never prevent any area from having assistance, including the areas under the control of ISIS, like al-Raqqa in the north that’s been under their control, and before that al-Nusra for nearly three years now. We’ve been sending them all the salaries for the retired people, all the salaries for the employees today, and we send them vaccines for the children.
Question 2: So, food and salaries still go into even al-Raqqa and Islamic State strongholds?
President Assad: Exactly. So, if we send it to al-Raqqa, which is under the control of ISIS, because we think as a government that we are responsible of every Syrian people, how can we not do it in other areas? That’s not realistic, that’s contradiction. So, that’s why I said it’s not recently; we never stopped allowing the assistance, or, what do you call it, food.
Question 3: It will continue to happen?
President Assad: Exactly.

In December 2015, David Cameron attended a 'Christmas party' at London's Sexy Fish restaurant, where a glass of red wine can cost £105, and where the 'decor' cost 15 million pounds.
David Cameron's mother is descended from Emile Levita, a German Jewish financier.
The 'Christmas party' was hosted by Cameron's former special adviser Steve Hilton (Steve Hircsák).
Steve Hilton (Steve Hircsák) is married to Rachel Whetstone, former aide to former Conservative leader Michael Howard (Michael Hecht), and former executive at Google.

Attending the 'Christmas party' were:

Kurdish Genocide in Turkey Must Be Stopped

NEO 23.02.2016 Author: Martin Berge
While the Turkish army, following the orders of their commander in chief, carries on the armed aggression against Iraq and Syria, in Turkey itself authorities have launched an all-out offensive against the civil population of Kurdish regions. It won’t be an exaggeration to state that Erdogan is systematically exterminating Kurds throughout Turkey which constitutes an act of genocide. All across the major cities Kurdish activists are being routinely arrested and more than two hundred offices of the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party have been burned to the ground.
The Turkish authorities have decided to suppress the Kurdish strive for independence with military power, which has already led to countless victims among the civilian population. But it doesn’t seem to stop there since Turkish media outlets are reporting that the government is buying tens of thousands of special equipment items designed to facilitate the fighting in urban areas, including sniper rifles, microwave radars that allow to find those seeking refuge behind walls, machine guns that allow the gunner to shoot around corners and 22 000 sets of helmets and body armor that provide enhanced protection for melee engagements. What this basically means is that Kurdish towns are going to be transformed into warzones.
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has decided to turn a blind eye to the fact that raids in urban areas are usually result in a large number of those unable to protect themselves being decimated, including women, children, and elders. If reports from the Kurdish populated areas are to be believed – whole towns are on the brink of a humanitarian disaster.
But it seems that Erdogan couldn’t care less, since Kurdish settlements that are now being transformed into warzones are sealed for any politicians, journalists, or human rights defenders. Experts say that the total number of internally displaced persons has already exceeded one hundred thousand people.
If Sirnak Kurdish activists are “only” getting arrested and beaten in broad daylight, a massive extermination of the civil Kurdish population has been reported in the town of Cizre that is located some 20 kilometers from the Syrian-Turkish border. This name can sound familiar to observers since back in June 2015 85% of its population voted for the Peoples’ Democratic Party . Yet, Turkish officials are convinced that they are “only conducting a “special operation.”
Recently Kurdish MP Feleknas Uca accused the government of brutal murder of 150 Kurdish civilians. She told journalists that in the area of Cizre families were burned alive in their homes only due to the fact that they were Kurds.

Russia Calls UN Security Council Meeting to Prevent Turkey’s Invasion of Syria
“A ‘Distraction’, or a Genuine Attempt to Prevent World War III?”
By Stuart Hooper
Global Research, February 21, 2016
21st Century Wire 19 February 2016
This is called taking it to the top.
Russia is set to initiate a meeting of the UN Security Council today to prevent Turkey’s planned invasion of Syria.
Maria Zakharova, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, is most concerned with:
Turkey’s announced plans to put boots on the ground in northern Syria,
It undercuts efforts to launch a political settlement in the Syrian Arab Republic,
Watch a video of this report here:

Russia seeks to do the following at the meeting:
End any actions that undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, that are at odds with UN Security Council resolution 2254, as well as [interfere] with the launch of the Syrian peace process.
Just two weeks ago Russia announced that it had ‘serious grounds’ to believe Turkey was planning a ground invasion, after the Turks refused to let Russia fly surveillance flights near its border with Syria.
Since then, Saudi Arabia has been openly supportive of the plan and Turkey has been hyping numerous reasons that it could use to try and justify its coming invasion.
Turkey has even proposed somewhat of a land-grab, saying it wants a 10km ‘secure line’ cut across Northern Syria, which also happened to include an arms smuggling corridor that the CIA has been using to supply terrorists throughout Syria.
Incredibly, instead of taking Turkey’s threatening behaviour seriously, Samantha Power of the United States accused Moscow of trying to “distract the world” with its Security Council resolution.
Perhaps what angers the US the most is that Russia is playing this 100% by the book, an alien concept to US foreign policy for at least the past 15 years, as it seeks to guarantee thesovereignty of the Syrian state and properly eradicate its terror problem.
Is Russia’s resolution simply a ‘distraction’, or a genuine attempt to prevent World War 3?

Support Academic Freedom: Prof. James Tracy Fired for his Writings on the Sandy Hook School Event

By James F. Tracy
Global Research, February 22, 2016
Dr. James Tracy was a highly regarded professor of media studies who’s job it was to critically analyze the media reporting of significant events. For unknown reasons, personally sharing honest analysis of the Sandy Hook event triggered a media attack on Dr. Tracy.
The media began to pressure the university in which he was a tenured professor and labeled him the ‘Conspiracy Professor.’
Shockingly, Professor Tracy was fired from Florida Atlantic University on January, 6th of this year.
If left unchallenged, these unjust actions are surely not the last to expect for America. Therefore, a group of concerned citizens and fellow scholars have established and incorporated the James Tracy Legal Defense Fund.
Please support Dr. Tracy: http://tracylegaldefense.org/

James F. Tracy was Associate Professor of Journalism and Media Studies at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton from 2002 to 2015. He was officially terminated on January 8, 2016 from his tenured position at FAU, ostensibly for questioning university policy and failing to file paperwork in a timely fashion. Tracy received his PhD from the University of Iowa. President Erdogan: “Turkey has Every Right to Conduct Military Operations in Syria”, to Protect

Global Research, February 22, 2016
RT 21 February 2016
Turkey has the right to carry out military operations not only in Syria, but in any other country, which is hosting terror groups that threaten the Turkish state, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.
“Turkey has every right to conduct operations in Syria and the places where terror organizations are nested with regards to the struggle against the threats that Turkey faces,” Erdogan was cited as saying by the Hurriyet newspaper.
#Turkey has the right to conduct operations in #Syria, elsewhere to combat terror: Erdogan https://t.co/6R2AdeEWPY pic.twitter.com/vrKiTnrywr
— Hürriyet Daily News (@HDNER) February 21, 2016
Ankara’s stance has “absolutely nothing to do with the sovereignty rights of the states that can’t take control of their territorial integrity,” the president insisted.
“On the contrary, this has to do with the will Turkey shows to protect its sovereignty rights,” he added.
[RT vid]
The Turkish president’s used an unexpected platform to make his hawkish remarks. On Saturday, he was visiting an event celebrating the inclusion of Turkey’s southeastern province of Gaziantep on the list of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network in the gastronomy category.
Erdogan warned that his government will treat “attitudes to prevent our country’s right [to self-defense] directly as an initiative against Turkey’s entity – no matter where it comes from.
“No one can restrict Turkey’s right to self-defense in the face of terror acts that have targeted Turkey; they cannot prevent [Turkey] from using it,” he said.
The Turkish forces have been shelling Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) forces, which Ankara views as a terrorist organization, as well as government troops on Syrian territory since mid-February.
The bombings of YPG targets, the military wing of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), continue despite Turkey’s ally, the US, considering the Kurdish fighters an important partner in fighting Islamic State (IS, Daesh, formerly ISIS/ISIL).
There were also reports of dozens of Turkish military vehicles crossing into Kurdish northern Syria, with servicemen digging trenches in the area.

Canada Pledges Over $1 Billion To Ongoing Fight In Syria and Iraq

By Dan Dicks
Global Research, February 22, 2016
Press for Truth 18 February 2016
For now, Canada’s CF-18 fighter jets have flown their last mission in both Iraq and Syria. Canada is transitioning to bringing the jets home and instead dramatically increasing troop presence overseas. Canada is going to triple the number of special forces who are said to be tasked with the objective of training Iraqi forces for at least the next two years. The country has already allocated a budget of over $1 billion toward the effort. The military missions in Iraq and Syria are going to be extended for another year, until March, 31, 2017. There has also been over $800 million promised in humanitarian assistance over the next three years.
The fight in Syria has been going on for several years now and it’s claimed that Canada has conducted roughly 2.5 per cent of all the airstrikes that were conducted in Iraq and Syria. The majority of the strikes that were launched took place in Iraq. It’s alleged that the United States has launched over 9,000 airstrikes itself in the ongoing fight against ISIS. Several years of fighting, billions of dollars, and thousands of airstrikes later, the enemy seems to be still a threat now more than ever.

How Turkey supports the jihadists

by Thierry Meyssan
Damascus (Syria). Russia questioned the future of Turkey when it delivered to the Security Council an intelligence report concerning Turkey’s activities in support of jihadists. The document includes about ten revelations which implicate the activities of the MIT. The problem is that each of the operations listed refers back to operations in which the same actors worked with the United States or their allies against Russia. This information adds to that which is already available concerning the personal connections between President Erdogan and the Al-Qaïda banker, and the information about Erdogan’s son and the illegal use of the oil stolen by Daesh.
Russia delivered to the members of the UN Security Council an intelligence report concerning the activities of Turkey which support the jihadists operating in Syria [1]. The document lists about ten facts, each one of which violates one or several Council Resolutions.
By doing so, Russia puts the Council, and, by extension, several other inter-governmental organisations, face to face with their responsibilities. By law, the Council should ask for corresponding proof of these assertions and pressure Turkey for explanations. In the event that Turkey should be found guilty, the Council would have to decide which sanctions should be adopted under chapter VII of the Charter, in other words, by resorting to force. From their side, the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation would have to exclude this gangster-state from their ranks, while the European Union would have to halt Turkey’s negotiations for membership.
However, a close examination of the Russian intelligence report reveals that the alleged infringements are susceptible to open a number of other case files implicating other powers. Consequently it is unlikely that this report will be discussed publicly, but that the future of Turkey will be negotiated behind closed doors.

Op-Edge: ‘Big British names in Bahrain has not stopped the torture’
RT 23 Feb, 2016
Human rights organizations have accused London of ‘whitewashing’ Bahrain's record in the United Nations, former Bahraini MP Jalal Fairooz told RT. The profit from the sale of weapons could be one reason for the silence, he added.
RT: Why has the UK put so much effort into improving the image of the Bahraini government?
Jalal Fairooz: It is a long story - the UK considers the regime in Bahrain as its project, and it wants to show the project is successful. Unfortunately, that requires lots of whitewashing and making fake presentations. Actually, the UK says that it has even advisors helping the Bahrainis to raise the standards of human rights in Bahrain. But what is happening is on the contrary.
The UK has some big names there, like John Yates and [Sir Daniel] Bethlehem, and others who were previously in Scotland Yard and in the UK Home Office, and now they are there in Bahrain, but the torture doesn’t stop. The UN Special Rapporteur on Torture has wanted to visit Bahrain for four years and is being prevented.
What now is obvious is that because the British have been having this particular strategic tie with Bahrain - especially after establishing the naval base in Bahrain, which was paid fully, by the way, by the Bahraini government. Now you can see that the UK gets a lot of profit because of selling the arms – both to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain… That’s why you saw last September the British were lobbying for the Saudis to be the head of the Human Rights Council (UNHRC). That is the irony here in Britain. Of course there are lots of MPs who have raised questions in Parliament, but all over you could see them just trying to stand on the side of the Bahraini regime and government and against the Bahraini people – that is very unfortunate.

Would Russia Use Nukes to Defend Khmeimim?

Week Nineteen of the Russian Intervention in Syria
The Saker • February 20, 2016
The past week saw no decrease in the tense confrontation between Turkey and Russia over Syria. While Russia’s position is simple – ‘we are ready to fight’ – the Turkish position is much more ambiguous: Turkish politicians are saying one thing, then the opposite and then something else again. At times they make it sound like an invasion is imminent, and at times they say that “Turkey plans no unilateral invasion”. Since a UN authorized invasion of Syria will never happen, this means some kind of “coalition of the willing”, possibly NATO. The problem here is that the Europeans have no desire to end up in a war against Russia. At the same time, the US and France refuse to allow a UN Resolution which would reaffirm the sovereignty of Syria. Yup, that’s right. The US and France apparently think that the UN Charter (which affirms the sovereignty of all countries) does not apply to Syria. Go figure…
There are persistent rumors that top Turkish military commanders, categorically oppose any attack on Syria and that they want no part in a war with Russia. I don’t blame them one bit as they understand perfectly well two simple things: first, Turkey does not need a war, only Erdogan does; second, when Turkey is defeated, Erdogan will blame the military. There are also signs of disagreements inside the USA over the prospects of such a war, with the Neocons backing Erdogan and pushing him towards war just as they had done with Saakashvili while the White House and Foggy Bottom are telling Erdogan to “cool it”. As for the Turks themselves, they have shelled Kurdish and Syrian positions across the border and, on at least two occasions, a small military force has been seen crossing the border.
From a purely military point of view, it makes absolutely no sense for the Turks to mass at the border, declare that they are about to invade, then stop, do some shelling and then only send a few little units across the border. What the Turks should have done was to covertly begin to increase the level of readiness of their forces then and then attacked as soon as Russians detected their preparations even if that meant that they would have to initiate combat operations before being fully mobilized and ready. The advantages of a surprise attack are so big that almost every other consideration has to be put aside in order to achieve it. The Turks did the exact opposite: they advertised their intentions to invade and once their forces were ready, they simply stopped at the border and began issuing completely contradictory declarations. This makes absolutely no sense at all.

Apropos of probable Russian response to a Turkish invasion:
Turkey will probably not make a major move without assurance of NATO backing, which seems highly unlikely.

Cameron should be stopped 2 stages away from exchange. One stage away there will be fail safes.
The 128 F35's appear to be to stop the flood of avengers getting through the tunnel, i.e. post apocalypse.
That purchase should be considered the purchase of a weapon of mass destruction with taxpayer funds. And the purchaser punished appropriate to the intended use of the WMD.
Yawn. Please someone else be awake.
