End of Isolation: Britain Asks Putin for Help in Middle East – German Media
© Sputnik/ Sergey Guneev
As Great Britain has now invited Russia to participate in the fight against terrorism, the West seems to have realized that confrontation with Russia has no good endings. However, both countries are organizing major military maneuvers to preserve the facade of the conflict and not to give the impression of weakness, DWN wrote.
The West has realized that Russia’s isolation is ineffective, especially when it became clear that America has not achieved any positive results in Syria, DWN reported.
Britain and Russia have announced their intention to cooperate closely to solve the Syrian crisis. Prime Minister David Cameron and Vladimir Putin have agreed to a meeting between senior security advisers of both countries, the newspaper reported, referring to a statement of the British government.
The activities of the Islamic State and the Syrian civil war were the main topic of the half-hour phone call, the government’ s spokeswoman said.
However, according to the newspaper, both countries do not want to reveal the turnaround in their relations too quickly. Thus, they are conducting military maneuvers that recall the days of the Cold War.

Syria in Last 24 Hours: Al-Nusra Front Defeats ISIL in South
May 26, 2015
TEHRAN (FNA)- The infighting between rival terrorist groups continued in several parts of Syria in the last 24 hours, and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) lost its positions to the Al-Nusra Front in the Southern parts of the country.
The ISIL terrorists withdrew from the town of Sahm Joulan in Western Dara'a as the Al-Nusra Front attacked the ISIL's positions in that town.
Tens of terrorists from both sides were killed in heavy clashes.
The ISIL's defeat from Al-Nusra Front in  Southern Syria came as the Takfiri terrorist group was also pushed back from vast territories in the North.
Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian army and the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance fighters made massive gains in the province of Idlib and took control over hilltops near the strategic city of Jisr al-Shughour in Northwest.
The army and Hezbollah forces tightened their grip over the last hilltops under Al-Nusra Front control before winning back Jisr al-Shughour. Almost the entire city is under terrorists' control.
Yet, parts of the Jisr al-Shughour, including its Hospital, have remained under the Army's control despite the terrorist group's numerous heavy offensives to win control over these few pockets of resistance. Earlier this week, the Syrian army started massive operations to prevent the terrorists from capturing the Jisr al-Shughour Hospital.
Nearly 200 Syrian soldiers are protecting Jisr al-Shughour hospital against the terrorists.
Meantime, the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance fighters took Qabe'a and Naqqar mountains Northeast of Nahle barrens in the Eastern Lebanon Mountain Range from the Takfiri militants.
The Hezbollah fighters destroyed a military vehicle of al-Nusra Front Takfiri terrorist group, leaving scores of gunmen killed and injured.
On May 15, Hezbollah declared full control over al-Qalamoun mountains on the Eastern border with Lebanon, after driving out Takfiri militants of al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorist groups from Moses Hill, the highest peak in the area.
Elsewhere, the Syrian government forces continued to tighten noose around the Takfiri militants in Daraa province, leaving a group of them dead and injured.
The army killed and injured a number of terrorists, and destroyed a vehicle with all terrorists on board after monitoring their movement in al-Kark al-Sharqi village in the Northeastern outskirts of the Southern province of Daraa, sources said Monday.
Meantime, dozens of the foreign-backed Takfiri militants were killed in military operations targeting their positions in the province of Homs.
The army destroyed a number of hideouts of terrorists of al-Nusra Front in the Northern outskirts of Homs province.
The army clashed with terrorists of al-Nusra Front, the so-called "Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement", "Jaish al-Tawhid", "Homs Legion", "Ahl Sunna wal Jama’a" and "Ajnad Homs" while they were trying to infiltrate from al-Ghajar village to Ahraj Kafr Nan on the direction of Jabbourin village, 7 km to the West of Talbisa city.
Scores of Takfiri militants were killed in the clashes. Terrorists' arms and ammunition were also destroyed.
Elsewhere, the Syrian Armed Forces raided the ISIL terrorist group's gathering centers in the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur and pushed them back from their positions, provincial sources confirmed.
The sources in the Eastern battlefields said that the ISIL fighters' strongholds in the nearby areas of Deir Ezzur Airport were raided by the army men, who forced the rebels to retreat from the fighting area.
The sources went on to say that the army also killed or wounded several fighters in al-Mohassan and al- Mari’yeh and seized their depot of ammunitions and weapons.
Meantime, the Syrian army pressed ahead with its military campaign against the Al-Nusra Front on the outskirts of Quneitra, claiming the lives of scores of terrorists.
The army troops tightened their noose over al-Nusra terrorists in the areas of al-Samadaniye, al-Gharbiye, Oum Batina, and al-Mshairfeh in Quneitra and killed large groups of the militants.
Elsewhere in Syria, the terrorists sustained heavy toll in the region of al-Qasr, as the Syrian soldiers made more gains in Sweida.
Meantime, the Syrian Kurdish Forces have successfully defended their positions against the ISIL terrorists and have pushed them back from Rojava and Kaniye, informed sources in the Northern and Northeastern parts of Syria announced.
The sources said that intense clashes between the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), and the ISIL insurgents took place in the Kurdish town of Sere Kaniye, Northeastern Syria.
Also, military sources in the Northwestern province of Idlib confirmed that at least 300 terrorists were killed in the Syrian Army's operations to retake full control over the captured city of Jisr al-Shughour and its nearby areas.
The sources said that over 300 fighters were killed and hundreds more were injured during the army’s raids to break the almost month-long siege on the National Hospital of Jisr al-Shughour.
Meantime, the Syrian Special Forces killed or wounded tens of insurgents in the neighborhoods of the Aleppo city and its countryside, informed sources in the Northern battlefields announced.
The sources told the FNA that the Syrian army men stormed the concentration centers of the rebel groups in al-Sheikh Saeed, al-Sukkari, Zeitan, Bashkwi, Deir Jamal, Mayir, al- Ashrafyeh, Aziza and near the air force academy, and killed or wounded several of their fighters.

Muslim scholars at Beirut summit vow to confront Israel
Wed May 27
Islamic scholars from around the globe participating in a conference in Lebanon’s capital Beirut have underlined the need for the Muslim world to unite against Israel, saying the Zionist regime has launched an open war on Muslims.
Participants, both Sunnis and Shias, at the International Union of Resistance conference in Beirut on Wednesday discussed ways to promote unity and solidarity in the Muslim world and focus on the problems facing the Islamic world. They highlighted the cultural and religious commonalities among Muslim countries and stressed the need for them to set aside their differences.
The organizer of the event, the International Union of Resistance, was formed in the Lebanese capital last year to create a unified front in the face of the Israeli threat in the strategically important region of the Middle East.

Pentagon sends live anthrax spores accidentally to nine labs
Wed May 27, 2015
The US military says it accidentally sent live anthrax spores to as many as nine laboratories and is investigating how that happened.
There was no public threat from the mishap, a Pentagon official said on Wednesday.
The labs were supposed to receive dead anthrax samples for research use.
Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren said the military was working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to retrieve the samples.

Death toll from severe heatwave in India surpasses 1,100

A government statement on Wednesday confirmed that more than 852 people have died from the stifling heat in the worst-hit southeastern state of Andhra Pradesh since May 13.
Bhambal Ram Meena, a top official in the disaster management department, said another 266 have died in the neighboring state of Telangana from heat-related causes.
Dozens more casualties have been reported in the capital Delhi and the eastern states of West Bengal and Odissa.

Experts warn about UK security laws
Tue May 26, 2015
A group of UK legal academics has sent a letter to the country’s MPs calling for a proper assessment of the risks posed by Britain’s security laws.
38 specialist signatories drawn from across different fields of law explained their concerns adding new surveillance laws and immunity granted to police and intelligence service hackers must be subject to open assessment and thorough critique.
They said their aim is to “ensure that any changes in the law, and especially any expansions of power, are fully and transparently vetted by parliament, and open to consultation from the public and all relevant stakeholders.”

Unstable Fukushima Containers May Cause Hydrogen Explosions
By Joshua Krause
The Fukushima nuclear plant is at it again. TEPCO Announced on Friday that they’re experiencing numerous leaks throughout the facility. Out of the 1,307 containers within the plant, at least 333 are reportedly “defective.” The first leak was discovered as far back as April 2nd, which prompted an inspection of other structures on the property.
What’s worse is the cause of the leaks. They believe that the radioactive material in the vessels is separating the hydrogen from the water, and the expansion of this gas is increasing the internal pressure of the containers. And obviously, the flammable nature of hydrogen could cause catastrophic problems in the future.

Ministry of Defence Admits It Irradiated Civilians in Nuclear Weapons Tests, but Denies Vets Were Harmed
By Melissa Dykes
The headline on this story is horrifying enough but after admitting these atrocities this government denies the very same tests harmed veterans.
What the Hell?
Via The Mirror:
The Ministry of Defence has admitted thousands of civilian staff were irradiated in nuclear weapons tests during the Cold War. But it still denies that veterans of the nuclear tests, which began in 1952 when Britain exploded its first device, were harmed.
A newly uncovered government study details the death and cancer rates of 174,541 people who were exposed to radiation at nuclear facilities. Of those, 64,909 were employed by the MoD in non-military roles such as maintaining nuclear submarines and weapons.

Top Bush Era CIA Official Just Confirmed the Iraq War Was Based On Lies
By Claire Bernish
Twelve years after George W Bush initiated the illegal invasion of Iraq, ostensibly under the premise of preemptive self-defense, a stark majority — as many as 75% in 2014 — feel the so-called war was a mistake. As evidence rapidly accumulates that Bush’s yearning to launch an aggressive attack was likelier due to a personal grudge than anything else, that number will surely swell.
This past Tuesday, the former president’s intelligence briefer lent yet more plausibility to that theory in an interview on MSNBC’s Hardball, making an admission that the Bush White House misrepresented intelligence reports to the public on key issues.

Senior NATO Official Claims We’ll Be at War by Summer
By Joshua Krause
Last week, former NSA intelligence analyst John Schindler posted a rather disturbing tweet. With a statement that one could only assume to be a reference towards Russia, Schindler wrote “Said a senior NATO (non-US) GOFO to me today: 'We’ll probably be at war this summer. If we’re lucky it won’t be nuclear.' Let that sink in.”
So who is John Schindler? As a ten-year veteran of the NSA; he was in the news a bit more when Snowden was making frequent headlines. He used to be a professor at the U.S. Naval War College, and is currently a frequent contributor to Business Insider. According to his biography on Business Insider, he used to teach classes on security, strategy, intelligence, and terrorism, and he has “collaborated closely with other government agencies who would probably prefer he didn’t mention them.” It’s safe to say that Schindler probably brushes shoulders with high-ranking officials from time to time, so his tweet should be taken seriously.

Re: Techno tyranny - telling it like it is
The most telling section. Is the UK regime and its GCHQ any different?
What we have failed to truly comprehend is that the NSA is merely one small part of a shadowy permanent government comprised of unelected bureaucrats who march in lockstep with profit-driven corporations that actually runs Washington, DC, and works to keep us under surveillance and, thus, under control. For example, Google openly works with the NSA, Amazon has built a massive $600 million intelligence database for the CIA, and the telecommunications industry is making a fat profit by spying on us for the government.
In other words, Corporate America is making a hefty profit by aiding and abetting the government in its domestic surveillance efforts. Conveniently, as the Intercept recently revealed, many of the NSA’s loudest defenders have financial ties to NSA contractors.
Thus, if this secret regime not only exists but thrives, it is because we have allowed it through our ignorance, apathy and naïve trust in politicians who take their orders from Corporate America rather than the Constitution.

Pushing You Into A Cashless Society
By Rory Hall
One of the most effective means the elite use today to get their way and push a particular agenda is to make it “hip, swinging and very, very cool”. Another way is to simply tell you what is obsolete and “out dated”. Who wants to be “behind the times”? Certainly not someone who is looking for the next “really cool” gadget! No, this particular person wants to be on the “cutting edge” of the “next big thing”!
Enter the banking cabal and their desire to have total and absolute control of your life through your banking account and your means of transacting business.

Is The 505 Trillion Dollar Interest Rate Derivatives Bubble In Imminent Jeopardy?
By Michael Snyder
All over the planet, large banks are massively overexposed to derivatives contracts. Interest rate derivatives account for the biggest chunk of these derivatives contracts. According to the Bank for International Settlements, the notional value of all interest rate derivatives contracts outstanding around the globe is a staggering 505 trillion dollars. Considering the fact that the U.S. national debt is only 18 trillion dollars, that is an amount of money that is almost incomprehensible.
When this derivatives bubble finally bursts, there won’t be enough money in the entire world to bail everyone out. The key to making sure that all of these interest rate bets do not start going bad is for interest rates to remain stable. That is why what is going on in Greece right now is so important. The Greek government has announced that it will default on a loan payment that it owes to the IMF on June 5th. If that default does indeed happen, Greek bond yields will soar into the stratosphere as panicked investors flee for the exits. But it won’t just be Greece.

Erik Voorhees: Bitcoin Will Out-Compete Fiat Because It's Better Money
By Eric Blair
Erik Voorhees, one of Bitcoin’s busiest entrepreneurs and biggest libertarian influences, took time to answers my questions about his political philosophy and latest startup ShapeShift.
Voorhees had early success with his Satoshi Dice phenomenon that was responsible for popularizing Bitcoin’s frictionless capacity to handle fair online gambling as well as private stock trading. After being fined by the SEC for not paying their protection-racket toll, he created a platform to send Bitcoin using SMS demonstrating how it could be used with dumbphones.
Each of these innovations continues to be disruptive to famously fraudulent industries with entrenched gatekeepers. Voorhees denies that his intent is to agitate anything. He says that he just wants to get rich creating useful services. Yet he does concede that authority disruption is endemic to Bitcoin itself.
Bitcoin doesn't need to violate privacy or block certain transactions to keep users or itself safe. It seems that the more capital controls governments impose, the more Bitcoin will disrupt it -- perhaps even displace it.

We have been seeing this coming, the deployment of special operations assassination squads
by Seth Ferris, with New Eastern Outlook, Moscow
[Editor’s Note: We have been seeing this coming, the deployment of special operations assassination squads to eliminate some of the best military leaders of the Ukraine Republics.
It is a sign that in the usual mode of American regime change, never ending attrition is the weapon of choice, where Americans are only used in supportive roles.
What is being displayed is what awaits those who resist the spread of “freedom and democracy”, with all the fluff removed. You either submit, or you suffer as long as you choose. Ukrainian conscripts cost $16 a month in payroll, much less than the Jihadi terrorists we help train and for whom we find things to do.
As for any significant domestic opposition to this craziness, there isn’t much politically in Congress, media, academia. They are all AWOL, which includes the diversion kind, where they are so caught up in their own thing that these far away foreign policy issues never get on their personal radar screens.
We are accepting our assigned role of pawns on the big chess board, and there seems to be an unlimited supply of us, including our kids and grandchildren… Jim W. Dean ]
Alexei Mozgovoi
The recent addition of Alexei Mozgovoi of the “Prizrak”(Ghost) battalion to the body count in Ukraine was not a surprise.
Some big gesture had to be made, as the Western and Kiev authorities have backed themselves into “a little dirty war” that could continue for years to come, having ignored all the lessons of both political and military history.
The slaying of this top battalion commander with a bomb and apparently finishing him and others off with automatic weapons bore all the telltale signs of outside interference.
Such operations take intelligence and planning, and the plan of action executed indicates that American special services, whose playbook is now practically public property, were behind it.
Stating the obvious
Mozgovoi was the obvious target for an external, rather than internal, operation. Of course, as a battalion commander in the so called “rebel” army of Eastern Ukraine he would be a target of the Ukrainian Army and its Western friends anyway. But his distinguishing feature was that he was the most vocal critic of both the Russian-backed separatist leadership and the Minsk accord signed with Kiev.
In reality this meant little on the ground – he would just keep fighting as before, regardless of any ceasefire, everyone knew that. But the point of agreements is not to get opposing sides to agree but to isolate those who can’t.

The NHS Common Purpose: Towards A Million Change Agents

The Rotherham Common Purpose Effect
By blurring the boundaries between people, professions, public and private sectors, responsibility and accountability, Common Purpose encourages “graduates” to believe that as new selected leaders, they can work together, outside of the established political and social structures, to achieve a paradigm shift or CHANGE - so called “Leading Beyond Authority”. In doing so, the allegiance of the individual becomes ‘re-framed’ on CP colleagues and their NETWORK. Is it any wonder the local authority is "not fit for purpose" in the latest official report?

"Stalinists" vs. "Trotskyists", or a Mozgovoy Post-Scriptum
May 26, 2015 By J.Hawk
The following is an original editorial which reflects only the views of the author
So, who killed Mozgovoy? We'll never know for certain. Not only because we don't know all the facts, but also because those who do know the facts have an incentive to keep them to themselves. However, it doesn't mean one can't attempt to piece together a plausible scenario of Mozgovoy's assassination.
When looking for the culprits I think we can safely rule out the clowns of the UAF or the SBU, and especially the volunteer battalions. They are not that good and, frankly, if they were they'd be going after far more important targets. Besides, I'd argue that someone like Mozgovoy in a position of power was actually acceptable to Kiev because on a narrow but crucial band of interests their priorities and objectives coincided. No, I believe his death was caused by the differences of opinion between Mozgovoy, LPR, and ultimately the Kremlin, over the future course of Ukraine's civil war.

Supplementary information on the [Mozgovoy] operation.

Joined the shooting at the VAZ and left the place of work. Laid in the area of the tailings and when the psychosis of the fighters had passed moved towards our territory...
