Bomb Iran? Not now: bomb Yemen
Bomb Iran? Not now: bomb Yemen
April 08, 2015 Pepe Escobar
‘Operation Decisive Storm’ – the Pentagon-style House of Saud glorifying of its ghastly ‘Bomb Yemen’ show - could be summed up in a single paragraph.
The wealthiest Arab nation – the House of Saud petro-hacienda – supported by other GCC petro-rackets and also the wealthy “West”, has launched an – illegal – bombing/war/kinetic operation against the poorest Arab nation in the name of “democracy.”
And this absurdity is just the beginning.
The EU’s foreign policy chief, the innocuous as a stale cannoli Federica Mogherini, seems to be mildly alarmed. She remarked that Saudi bombing of hospitals and “deliberate targeting and destruction of private homes, education facilities and basic infrastructure cannot be tolerated.”
Well, the EU tolerates exactly the same thing in Donbass perpetrated by Kiev’s goons – so nothing will come out La Mogherini’s feigned outrage.
The Red Cross and the Russian Federation, for their part, at least are demanding a temporary ceasefire to allow for humanitarian relief. Humanitarian relief is incompatible with the House of Saud’s bloodline. So after two weeks of Saudi ‘Shock and Awe’, the current toll of at least 560 Yemeni civilians dead (and counting), and 1700 wounded - dozens of them children – is bound to increase.
Bab-el-Mandeb me, baby
Bomb Iran? Not now; the new normal is bomb Yemen. But still bomb Iran might be back in a flash. Pentagon supremo Ash Carter confirmed last week “all options are on the table” even if an Iran-P5+1 nuclear deal is finally reached in June. So, for the record, the Pentagon is affirming nuclear negotiations are just white noise unable to deter the tantalizing prospect of yet another nice little Middle East war.
Needless to add, the so civilized ‘West’ didn’t even flinch when “our bastards” the House of Saud invaded and started shockin’ an’awin’ dirt-poor Yemen. No UN Security Council resolution. Not even a mandate from the totally discredited Arab League. Who cares? After all the ‘Empire of Chaos’ has done the same over and over again with total impunity.
Much hysteria has been raging on whether the Houthis are about to take control of the Bab-el-Mandeb – one of the key strategic global energy chokepoints along with the Straits of Hormuz, and as crucial as the Suez Canal. Nonsense. Whatever the House of Saud does, the not so hidden ‘Empire of Chaos’ agenda is never to lose control of the Bab-el-Mandeb, the Gulf of Aden, and the Socotra Islands.
This is part of what we could dub ‘Chokepointistan’; wars taking place near or around energy bottlenecks, and always narrated in Global War on Terror (GWOT) deceitful terminology. US Think Tankland is more straightforward, carefully following US naval deployments. That’s what this is all about; an Orwellian “freedom of navigation” masquerading a hardcore strategy of shutting out the geopolitical enemy – be it Iran, Russia, China or all of the above.
‘Chokepointistan’ is all over the place: just watch the war or pre-positioning action in the Bab-el-Mandeb (with spillover effects from Yemen to Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti); the Straits of Hormuz (all about Iran); but also the strait of Malacca (all about China), Panama (about Venezuela), the coming Nicaragua canal (about China), the Korean Strait, the Taiwan Strait, the Kuril Islands, and last but not least the Baltic Sea.
A Grand Armada Run Amok
Saudi intel knows the Houthis can’t possibly control the Bab-el-Mandeb – not to mention Washington would never allow it. What freaks the Saudis out is that the Houthi rebellion in Yemen – supported by Tehran – may encourage bright rebellion ideas among the Shi’ite majority in the eastern provinces in Saudi Arabia, where most of the oil is.
And this where the Saudi excuse for war interfaces with the empire’s paranoia of preventing Iran, Russia and/or China from establishing a possible strategic presence in Yemen, at the Bab-el-Mandeb, overlooking the Gulf of Aden.
So we have once again Pentagon supremo Carter insisting, “The United States supports Arab plans to create a unified military force to counter growing security threats in the Middle East, and the Pentagon will cooperate with it where US and Arab interests coincide.” Translation: we gave the green light for our bastards to maintain “stability” in the Middle East.
Yet there’s a spanner in the works; the possible Washington-Tehran rapprochement, assuming a nuclear deal is reached. For the self-described “Don’t Do Stupid Stuff” Obama administration, the nuclear deal will be their only foreign policy success. Moreover, without Tehran there’s no meaningful fight against ISIS/ISIL/Daesh in “Syraq”.
None of this mollifies the cosmically paranoid Saudis, who assembled in a flash a Grand Armada Run Amok (GARA) – 100 jet fighters, 150,000 soldiers – respectfully described by US Think Tankland as a “coalition” of 10 countries. Without even blinking at UN norms, the Saudis instantly declared the whole of Yemen as a no-fly zone.
And along with routine bombing of residential complexes, the al-Mazraq camp for the internally displaced in Hajjah, a dairy factory near Hodeida, and other instances, came, what else, hardcore internal Saudi repression, via a crackdown with tanks and indiscriminate shooting in Awamiyah, in the eastern provinces; Shi’ites there can’t even think of organizing protests against the bloodbath in Yemen.
In a nutshell, this is the immensely wealthy, corrupt, medieval Saudi regime busy at war against their own people. The usual hard-line Wahhabi imams are busy working up anti-Shi’ite and anti-Iranian fever everywhere; these are all “apostates” under the takfir doctrine, and Iranians are lowly “Safawis” - a quite pejorative reference to the 16th century Safavid dynasty. It’s crucial to remember that Islamic State treats Shi’tes and Iranians the exact same way. But forget about any of this being reported by Western corporate media.
The General and the Sheikh
The House of Saud insists it wants to reinstall the government-in-exile of Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi. Or, as Saudi Ambassador to the US, Adel al-Jubeir glowingly put it, “protect the legitimate government of the country.”
Royally paid Saudi lobby hagiographers are once again frantically spinning the Sunni versus Shi’ite sectarian narrative – which totally ignores the mind-boggling tribal/class complexity of Yemeni society. In a nutshell, this laughable Saudi defense of democracy is paving the way for a ground war; a long, bloody and horribly expensive ground war.
And it gets, as expected, even more absurd. Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was recently asked during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing whether he knew of “any major Arab ally that embraces ISIL.” His response: “I know major Arab allies who fund them.”
Translation: the US government not only does not sanction or punish these “allies” (the real fun is to sanction Russia) but showers with logistical and “non-lethal” support the “coalition” that is arguably fighting the same Islamic State they are funding. No one is making this up; this is how the endless war on terra remains the gift that keeps on giving.
It gets even curioser and curioser when we have Dempsey on the same page of Hezbollah’s Sheikh Nasrallah. In this crucial speech, Sheikh Nasrallah offers the most extensive and precise account of the origins and ideology of ISIS/ISIL/Daesh. And here he expands on Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Iran.
So what we have is the ‘Empire of Chaos’ ‘leading from behind’ in the war on Yemen and also de facto ‘leading from behind’ in the fight against ISIS/ISIL/Daesh; the ones doing the heavy lifting are Iraqi militias supported by Tehran. The hidden agenda is always – what else –chaos; be it across “Syraq” or inside Yemen. With an extra bonus; while Washington is engaged on striking a nuclear deal with Tehran, it also turbo-charges an alliance against Tehran using the House of Saud.
Vietnam in the desert
The House of Saud badly wants Pakistan to take no prisoners, supplying bomber jets, ships and lots of ground troops for their war. Riyadh treats Islamabad as a vassal state. A joint session of the Pakistani Parliament will decide what to do.
It’s quite revealing to learn what happened when Pakistan's most popular private TV channel assembled representatives of all major political parties to explain where they stand. Soon they reached a consensus; Pakistan should be neutral; act as mediator; and commit no troops, unless there was a “tangible threat” to the two holy mosques in Mecca and Medina, which is far from the case.
The House of Saud remains on overdrive, showering tons of cash over Salafi and Deobandi preachers to bullhorn their war; that includes a delegation of ulema visiting Riyadh. Support has already duly poured from Pakistan-based hardcore groups that trained with al-Qaeda and fought with the Taliban in Afghanistan; after all they are all funded by Wahhabi fanatics.
Meanwhile, in the front lines, a real game-changer may be ahead, with the Houthis already firing missiles across the border at Saudi oil installations. Then all bets are off – and the possibility that long-range missiles have been pre-positioned becomes quite credible.
That scenario would mean a foreign intel agency luring the House of Saud into its own Vietnam quagmire in Yemen, setting them up for a barrage of missiles hitting their pumping stations and oil fields, with catastrophic consequences for the global economy. It’s crucial to remember that the Grand Armada Run Amok (GARA) assembled by Riyadh happens to account for no less than 32% of global oil production. This cannot possibly end well.
Everyone in Yemen has an AK-47, not to mention RPGs and hand grenades. The terrain is guerrilla heaven. History spells out at least 2,000 years of hardened tribes fighting foreign invaders. Most Yemenis hate the House of Saud with a vengeance; a majority follows what the Houthis announced in late February, that the House of Saud and the US were planning to devastate Yemen.
The Houthi rebellion includes both Sunnis and Shi’ites – thus totally debunking the Saudi narrative. When they captured the Yemeni National Security Bureau, which was basically a CIA station, the Houthis found a wealth of secret documents that “compromised” Washington’s Yemeni chapter of the war on terra. As for the Saudi Army, it’s a joke. Besides, it employs a huge contingent of – you guessed it – Yemeni soldiers.
“Operation Decisive Storm” – yet another Pentagon-style illegal war – has already plunged Yemen into the twin plagues of civil war and humanitarian disaster. The remains of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), and most of all ISIS/ISIL/Daesh (who hate the Houthis and all Shi’ites with a vengeance) couldn’t be happier. The ‘Empire of Chaos’ couldn’t give a damn; the more widespread the chaos, the better for the Pentagon-defined Long War (on terra).
Over five years ago I wrote that Yemen is the new Waziristan. Now it’s also heading towards the new Somalia. And soon it may become the House of Saud’s Vietnam.

Iran Brands Yemen’s War as a Conspiracy Against Saudi Arabia
Keep this information in mind.....
A top Iranian diplomat has condemned Saudi Arabia’s military campaign against Yemen, saying its only aim is “to disintegrate and weaken” Saudi Arabia; he has recommended that the country stops counting on Washington’s help in Yemen.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, has said that the ongoing war in Yemen is, in fact, a plot against Saudi Arabia.
"The enemies of the [Middle East] region are unfortunately trying to disintegrate and weaken Saudi Arabia, and the aggression against Yemen and its consequences are the start point of this ominous plot," the Iranian news agency PressTV quoted the top official as saying on Sunday
Amir-Abdollahian recommended that Riyadh "stop counting on Washington's help in Yemen" and accused the US of pursuing dual policies in the Middle East.

Yemen: Going Massive & Sweeping it all Up
...To Paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld
This post contains about a weeks worth of assorted news items related to Yemen-
Hence my reference to Donald Rumsfeld statement after 9/11.
As always, share some information or thoughts on the subject!
Working back from Today:
*UPI: Saudis conduct massive airstrikes on Yemen
The raids were conducted on the Dar Sad and downtown sections of the city.
“The raids, late Thursday, targeted the Dar Sad neighborhood of the port city of Aden regarded as a Houthi stronghold, as well as the city's downtown area and a sports stadium”
A downtown neighbourhood?- Still striking civilians- That was clear from the moment the US encouraged bombing runs began

Canada Launches Airstrikes On The Sovereign Nation of Syria
Oh Canada.... hangs head in shame
Canadian fighter jets have carried out their first airstrike against ISIS in Syria, hitting one of the Sunni militant group's garrisons.
In plain language Canada has launched airstrikes on a nation that had done nothing to Canada.
The CF-18 Hornets bombed near ISIS' de facto capital of Raqqa, Canada's Department of National Defence said Wednesday. It described the strike as successful.
Bombed near the 'de facto' capital of Raqqa? Raqqa isn't the capital of anything. No matter how the NATO media presents this illusion.

Yemen – the Big Picture
Yemen, like Ukraine, is just another square on the geopolitical chess board which the exceptional nation aims to dominate.
Peter Koenig on April 5, 2015 “Global Research”, “ICH”.
As usual, western media are deliberately confusing in communicating on the latest Mid-East conflict which eventually led to the recent atrocious bombing of Yemen by the US-directed Saudi alliance, including Qatar and other Gulf monarchies. They are proxies, to be sure, for their Washington masters. My heart is bleeding for Yemen, a country of warm and generous people I got to know well, working with them in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Yemen is a patchwork of tribes, the result of former colonies, therefore made vulnerable for conflicts; easily ignitable conflicts. A situation left behind on purpose by the old British colonial masters, today servants to the Washington Empire. That’s the name of the game throughout the Middle East – and eventually throughout the world. Dividing to reign– by Zionist-Anglo-Saxon organized and never-ending chaos.
It is certainly true, where ever the US and its NATO cronies put their heavy boots, they create lasting misery and chaos. But these never-ending implanted internal conflicts and civil wars in far-away countries are produced by design, not to end soon. They are multi-benefit endeavors, lubricating the US war machine, assuring the ‘need’ for US intervention and occupation, and they are paving the way for US / western transnational corporations’ unabated and merciless exploitation of the victims’ riches, looting their natural resources and enslaving their people.
The globalized warriors, the emperor’s proxy armies, NATO and NATO-CIA trained mercenaries encounter little resistance from the population. People oppressed by civil strife have no time and energy to defend their rights, resources and country. They must fight for their sheer survival.
The current conflicts and proxy-wars in the Middle East are complex and complicated. My gut feeling, though, tells me that the wars are not really about sectarian conflicts; they are not about Shias battling Sunnis. They are part of a bigger picture, driven by Washington to achieve its final objective, worldwide hegemony, Full Spectrum Dominance. The emperor’s clients, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf States, kingdoms of tyranny, and more surprisingly, the European Union, they have all become henchmen for empire, following Washington’s marching orders

How the GOP Became the Israel Party
Bill Kristol and John McCain have replaced Robert Novak and Pat Buchanan in Republican foreign policy influence.
April 13, 2015 by Scott McConnell, The American Conservative, VNN
Bill Kristol and John McCain have replaced Robert Novak and Pat Buchanan in Republican foreign policy influence.
When the unexpectedly detailed P5+1 framework agreement with Iran was announced last Thursday, Illinois Republican Mark Kirk made a bizarre comment. “We all know” said the senator, that this is going to end with “a mushroom cloud somewhere near Tehran”—a result of Israel having to go to war to “clean up the mess” made by American and European negotiators. A few days earlier John McCain had expressed the wish that Israel “go rogue” and attack Iran in order to upend the Iran negotiations.
It would have been one thing if such comments had come from backbench congressmen. But McCain is a former GOP presidential nominee, one of his party’s most prominent foreign policy spokesmen. Kirk is the co-sponsor of what was, until recently, the major Senate legislation intended to scuttle the Iran negotiations—a leader in GOP “pro-Israel” circles. Yet neither remark sparked a repudiation, or even any reaction at all. They were what one expects from the GOP these days, recklessness about war and peace fused with a passion for Israel. It was as if all the diffuse sentiments which once fueled American nationalism and militarism were concentrated into a tight stream and displaced onto Israel, turning the country into the fantasy surrogate of American hawks.
The conservative belief in American exceptionalism is like Zionism, Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol boasted. Kirk and McCain may know that Americans have little enthusiasm for another Mideast war; the U.S. Army understands perfectly well that no occupation of Iran could be sustained, and America would have zero international support if it tried. But no matter, they have Israel.
Even 20 years ago some Republican senator would have signaled some collegial disagreement with Kirk and McCain. A Bob Dole or Dick Lugar or a Mark Hatfield would have let on that this sentiment wasn’t the only opinion in the party. Now if there are any who dissent, they dare not speak. Benjamin Netanyahu has become the symbolic leader of the GOP, and even he is probably not as aggressive as most in the party would like him to be.

Dream on?
Israel Lobby Conference: How big is the Lobby?
American politicians and media have fallen captive to the Zionist network. This is a lethal ailment that afflicts the US.
April 13, 2015 Debbie Menon

The “Israel Lobby”conference took place at the National Press Club on April 10th, 2015.
All I can say is… WOW! As in … WOW!
Congratulations to the dedicated organizers, supportive sponsors, thought-provoking speakers. Great job, well done. Kudos, to all of you.
You are going to draw heavy heat… from a great many Friends of Israel and associates, as well as the ADL and associates, but you already know that.
A lawsuit, scores of lawsuits against the ADL and any Zionist entities, such as Hillel.org, would be worth considering and a helluva lot more effective than all of the enlightening words and speeches in the world, which are, after all, just words. They are useless unless they inspire actions.
Abe Foxman and his ADL may be big, and they probably have sufficient money and legal staff to handle five simultaneous lawsuits in as many different jurisdictions and states without any great difficulty or expense, but if, if something like this were to catch on in the US Legal profession, it could grow into another Industry, just like the Holocaust Industry… the “Sue the ADL Industry.” It could balloon or suddenly go critical and erupt into massive proportions, big and expensive enough to deprive them of one of their favorite and most effective weapons.
Any lawyers willing to do it? Support the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) movement, on American university campuses across the nation.
Lawsuits for defamation and libel have long been the ADL’s most intimidating threat and damaging weapons in the ADL arsenal. They are weapons which the ADL understands, and perhaps the only ones which can penetrate the ADL defenses and do real good. Of course, the ADL is among the last of Israeli associated organizations who would want to see knowledgeable witnesses testifying under oath in a court of torts, investigating an incident which a plaintiff has the legal right to open, investigate and lay bare the truth for all to see.
Are there any plaintiffs out there brave enough to file? Are there any willing Lawyers out there with sufficient courage to take the cases?
If so, take a bat and step up to the plate… it is hardball, but it is an open game and it is about time.
Money and Law are the tools and the weapons of the Zionists, It is high time to engage them with weaponry with which they are not only familiar, but weaponry which can penetrate their defenses and do damage. ‘Know thy Enemy’, learn from his successes.

Occupier orders Palestinian lawmaker Khalida Jarrar held 6 months without charge or trial
Palestinian Legislative Council member Khalida Jarrar was given a so-called “administrative detention” order on Sunday, the Palestinian prisoners’ rights group Addameer said in a statement.
The group’s lawyer Mahmoud Hassan has visited Jarrar in Israel’s HaSharon prison. Jarrar, who suffers from a chronic illness, is taking her medications regularly, but is “in constant need of medical supervision,” Addameer added.
She is due to appear before an Israeli military tribunal on Wednesday to confirm the detention without charge or trial.
Jarrar is one of 15 Palestinian legislators and 23 female political prisoners currently detained by Israeli occupation forces, Addameer states. Jarrar, a prominent member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, is closely involved in prisoner issues.
{Image} Palestinian lawmaker Khalida Jarrar, who was arrested on 2 April from her home near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, seen on 27 August 2014 holding an Israeli order banishing her to Jericho, which she defied.
Last August, Israeli occupation forces issued Jarrar with an order banishing her to Jericho. She defied the order, remaining in her home in the occupied West Bank town of al-Bireh from where she was arrested by dozens of armed soldiers.
Gross violation
There are currently six thousand Palestinian political detainees in Israeli prisons, including almost 500 administrative detainees, according to Addameer’s most recent statistics.
Human rights defenders have consistently condemned Israel’s practice of prolonged detention of Palestinians without charge or trial.

Putin’s Mideast Gains Trump $ Loss From Iran Agreement
An interesting piece, but, as of yet I'm not convinced of the reality of the P5+ 1 agreement
Benefits to Russia may be just one reason for this agreement to fail.
-The U.S. and five other global powers, including Russia, aim to complete negotiations with Iran by the end of June
- The price (of oil) could tumble another $15 a barrel once sanctions on Iran are lifted after a final nuclear deal, the Energy Information Administration said on April 7.
- Oil at $40 a barrel could shave almost 2 percent from Russian gross domestic product, according to estimates by the Russian central bank last month before the Iran framework was announced
But, the lower oil price would be offset by other benefits

The New Cold War of the Middle East?
[Isn't that the plan? They're running out of means for a war on the weak.]
April 12, 2015 Anthony Hall
Does the developing conflict between the powers gravitating around Iran and Saudi Arabia replicate some features of the complex Cold War competition between the US-led and Soviet-led orbits for almost half a century after the Second World War? Has the tentative agreement on the 5+1 nuclear negotiations with Iran strengthened the axis of collaboration between nuclear armed Israel and right-wing Saudi militants? Do Sunni-Shi’a antagonisms best explain the proliferating conflicts throughout Eurasia or does an emphasis on intra-Islam sectarianism disguise the deeper geopolitical explanations of the conflict as the continuation of liberation struggles by Indigenous peoples to free themselves from new variations of imperial rule?
The following is the transcript of an exchange between Zahraa Karimi of the Mehr News Agency in Iran and Anthony J. Hall, Professor of Globalization Studies at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta Canada.
During last days, KSA has launched many air strikes against Yemen after people of this country ousted their dictator president out. The US and also UK and France expressed support of these attacks against Yemen. This seems in contradiction to what the US has always claimed of democracy. Democracy in other countries has always been a kind of pressure in the hands of US to press on the other countries. The fact that US uses democracy claims as a tool to use for its own interests and its acting like a double dealer in Yemen and even Bahrain issues, I would like to know your opinion.
How do you see the role of US in the events there? They have constantly showing use of double standards in the region from support for Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak up to his last days in power to support for Bahrain regime atrocities and even to Ukraine where they showed another form of double standards in regard to democracy.

From chapter 3
By Eustace Mullins
An interesting footnote to history is the revelation of the cozy relationships which developed between top Nazi officials and the founders of the Zionist terrorist network, Haganah and the Irgun Zvai Leumi, in the closing days of the Second World War.
The Zionists were working to drive the British out of Palestine; the Nazis were also at war with England, which gave birth to the most curious political alliance of the twentieth century. One of the leading advocates of working with the Abwehr, German Intelligence, was one Yitzhak Shamir, now Premier of Israel.
After the war, the Zionists employed many former Nazis to help set up their military opposition to the British. The leader in this alliance was the veteran of the old Stern Gang of terrorists, which was now the Irgun Zvai Leumi, none other than Menachem Begin.
One of Begin's protégés was a young woman named Mathilde J., as she was known in terrorist circles. She was born in Switzerland after her father left Italy because of "poor economic conditions," ~ no political ideology there. The present Mrs. Krim is described by Current Biography as a "geneticist" and a "philanthropist." She has been the resident biologist at the American Cancer Society for many years. In her younger days, she joined the Irgun Zvai Leumi, marrying a fellow terrorist in a show of solidarity. She soon became a favorite of Begin, and divorced her husband. It was Begin who was asked by a grinning Mike Wallaceon the program "Sixty Minutes," "Did you really introduce terrorism into the politics of the Middle East?"
Begin answered emphatically, "Not just the Middle East ~ the whole world.'' He was referring to the worldwide terrorist operations of Mossad, the Israeli Intelligence group which is entirely financed by the CIA with American taxpayers' funds.
Mathilde J. then went to work at the Weizmann Institute in Israel. One day, she was introduced to one of its wealthiest American directors, the movie mogul Arthur Krim. They were married, making her an American citizen. Krim has been the chief lobbyist in Washington for the major film companies for many years; he is also a principal fund raiser for the Zionist agitprop network.
As a fund raiser, he was also a close friend of President Lyndon B. Johnson. Krim and his wife were house guests of Johnson's at the White House when the Israelis attacked the U.S. ship of the line, U.S.S. Liberty, killing many of her crew.
When other American ships sent planes to aid the Liberty, immediate orders were sent from the White House for the planes to turn back. The Israelis were free to continue their attack for several more hours in a desperate attempt to sink the Liberty, to destroy the radio evidence it had gathered that the Israelis had started the Six-Day War.
Although it is generally believed that Krim issued the orders for the U.S. planes to turn back, no investigation was ever made. Johnson is now dead, and they are the only living witnesses in this horrendous example of high treason from the White House. The CIA had known for twenty-four hours that an attack was planned against the Liberty, in the hopes of bringing the U.S. into the war on the side of Israel; faked evidence had already been planted that the attack would come from the "Egyptians."
Mathilde Krim is now a director of the Rockefeller Foundation; she and her husband are directors of the Afro-American Institute. Arthur Krim has a long record of supporting leftwing causes in New York, the New York School of Social Research, the Henry Street Settlement, and the Field Foundation. Krim is chairman of United Artists (now Orion Films). As personal attorney for Armand Hammer, whose claim to fame is that he was a friend of the blood soaked terrorist, Lenin, Krim is also a director of Hammer's two principal firms, Iowa Beef and Occidental Petroleum. Krim also served as chairman of the Democratic Finance Committee; he is chairman of the board of trustees of Columbia University, and director of the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation.

France ignores UNSC resolutions that consider ISIS, al-Nusra terrorist organizations - MFE
An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said Tuesday the French government stresses all over again its alliance with the Takfiri terrorist organizations in Syria and its full partnership in shedding the Syrian blood through the policy of distorting facts to hide the crimes of the terrorists who have been destroying civilians’ properties and horrifying safe people just like the atrocities committed in Aleppo at the beginning of the week, and the attack by al-Nusra front, which is considered as moderate by France, on Idlib city recently.
Commenting on the French Foreign Ministry’s statement, the source added in a statement that that the French Foreign Ministry ignores UNSC resolutions, that consider “IS” and al-Nusra Front terrorist organizations, through defending areas that are controlled by these organizations.
“The French Foreign Ministry ignores the right of the legitimate government in Syria to combat terrorism and defend its people”, the source added.

Shelling in east Ukraine kills 1, injures 5
The Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in Ukraine says shelling by Ukrainian forces has killed one of its troopers and injured five others near the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol.
The ministry said Wednesday that the casualties occurred when Kiev government forces targeted the area of Shirokino, located some 20 kilometers (12 miles) west of Mariupol.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian government forces fired 15 shells from self-propelled weapons.
Officials also accused the Ukrainian troops of violating the ongoing ceasefire 50 times over the past 24 hours, using tanks, armored vehicles and various weaponry, including anti-tank guided missiles, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
Is this NATO advising the Ukr fascists to break the agreement to create chaos as it has done everywhere else its evil presence has interfered?

9/11 was ‘mother of all false flag attacks’: US scholar
Tue Apr 14, 2015
The September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States have been covered-up by the FBI and senior US officials because it was the “mother of all false flag” operations, an American scholar in Wisconsin says.
“If people start looking hard at 9/11, the whole story is going to unravel and its going to be exposed as the mother of all false flag attacks and the most spectacular act of deception in human history and the FBI has been charged with covering it up,” said Dr. Kevin Barrett, a founding member of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance.
The 9/11 attacks were designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they were carried out by Saudi Arabia, whereas senior US officials directly participated in the operation, Barrett told Press TV on Tuesday.
The so-called al-Qaeda terrorists who allegedly hijacked four planes and crashed them on September 11 were just “patsies who were falsely blamed for 9/11, they were set-up,” Dr. Barrett noted.
The September, 11, 2001 attacks, also known as the 9/11 attacks, were a series of strikes in the US which killed nearly 3,000 people and caused about $10 billion worth of property and infrastructure damage.
US officials assert that the attacks were carried out by al-Qaeda terrorists but many experts have raised questions about the official account.
They believe that rogue elements within the US government orchestrated or at least encouraged the 9/11 attacks in order to accelerate the US war machine and advance the Zionist agenda.
A special review commission on 9/11 has found that disagreements still persist within the FBI over whether there was a broader conspiracy in the US to carry out the 2001 attacks.
Aspects of the continuing inquiry, which is the largest in FBI history, suggests that others inside the US had advance knowledge of the operation and supported the suicide hijackers.
