Deliberate chaos in Syria
Western Imperialism’s Creative Destruction in Syria
Finian Cunningham (SCF) : US-led Western regime change in Syria might be described as a process of creative destruction. Like Schumpeter’s economic concept of cyclical creative destruction, so too Washington’s political machinations in Syria seem to be playing out likewise.
[Image - Maaloula, one of the oldest existing cities, destroyed.]
We begin with the premise that the humanitarian crisis in Syria over the past nearly three years is largely as a result of a Western covert proxy war inflicted on that country. The objective is to destabilize, terrorize and eventuate regime change in the Arab country…
The crisis afflicting Syria with over 130,000 dead and nearly nine million people displaced from their homes – nearly 40 per cent of the total population – would not be occurring if it were not for the infiltration of that country with massive flows of weapons, fighting funds and foreign mercenary brigades. US and NATO Special Forces, along with Western military intelligence, have worked with Saudi, Qatari, Jordanian, Israeli and Turk allies to foment this externally driven insurgency. All under the cover of an Arab Spring revolt.
The highly criminal process has attempted to destroy a sovereign country in order to create a new political order, one that is bereft of the existing political establishment under President Bashar Al Assad. This new order brought about by regime change would be amenable to Western interests in terms of Middle East politics and oil economics. In particular, the desired pro-Western regime would deny Russia, China and Iran of an important ally in the Mediterranean.
Western desire for regime change in Syria is well documented, according to American journalist Seymour Hersh, going back to at least 2007 when the George W Bush Presidency conceived of a plan to undermine the Syrian-Iranian resistance against Washington’s regional hegemony. Other historical studies argue that Western plans for regime change in Syria hark even further back to the 1950s when Dwight Eisenhower was US president.
Last year, former French Foreign Minister Roland Dumas revealed that he was approached two years before the outbreak of latest conflict in Syria in March 2011 by British political figures, who told him of a plot to unseat the Syrian government.
So, our premise of Western regime change being the driver of conflict and humanitarian crisis in Syria is on solid ground.

Intelligent observations contrast with zombified one voice western media propaganda.

An earlier NSNBC piece compliments -
Western assassination of Arab Culture by modo-colonialist Vice Kings
Christof Lehmann (nsnbc), - On 4 January the historical Lebanese Al Sa’eh Library in Tripoli was burnt down by the hands of terrorists. Was the arson a symptom of a Western and Zionist war on Arab culture, executed via the colonialist – installed regimes of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and their mercenary brigades under the banners of Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood? Is there a basis for holding those who planned the war on Syria accountable for genocide?
Those who doubt the accuracy of this implied statement may recall the words of the former French Foreign Minister Roland Dumas, spoken during an appearance on the French TV channel LPC, in June 2013, when Dumas admitted that the war on Syria was planned two years before “The Arab Spring” and that top-British officials asked him, two years before the first protests erupted in Syria in early 2011, whether he wanted to participate in subverting Syria with the help of “rebels”. More exactly, Dumas said:
“I am going to tell you something. I was in England two years before the violence in Syria on other business. I met with top British officials, who confessed to me, that they were preparing something in Syria. … This was in Britain not in America. Britain was organizing an invasion of rebels into Syria. They even asked me, although I was no longer Minister of Foreign Affairs, if I would like to participate. Naturally, I refused, I said I am French, that does not interest me”.
For those who have doubts about the involvement of Zionists, or rather those who fear being denounced as “anti-semite“, which is understandable because international Zionism is quite so efficient at using its “Anti Defamation League” to denounce anyone who dares to overtly oppose Israeli policy as “anti-Semite”, it is recommendable to continue listening to the former French Foreign Minister who said:
“This operation goes way back. It was prepared, preconceived and planned… in the region, it is important to know that this Syrian regime has a very anti-Israeli stance”.
“Consequently, everything that moves in the region…- and I have this from a former Israeli Prime Minister who told me ´We will try to get on with our neighbors but those who don’t agree with us will be destroyed. It is a type of politics, a view of history, why not after all. But one should  know about it”.
The statement has been published in an article in nsnbc international on 16 June 2013, along with the original audio with Roland Dumas in French.

Why Does Ukraine Seem So Much Like Syria?
Daniel McAdams
In Ukraine, US-backed rebels seize weapons from a military depot and begin firing on police — killing at least ten. The rebel groups occupy and torch government buildings, trade union headquarters, the central post office, and political party headquarters. They occupy local government facilities in other cities and physically attack local authorities. Their goal is to overthrow the elected government.
Reports of rebel reinforcements arriving, with “bulky backpacks near the scene of the latest protests,” are suspiciously reminiscent of the “Internet in a Suitcase” project funded by the US government to provide tools for “activists” in regime-change candidate countries. The US has similarly trained and equipped the Syrian rebels.
US-backed rebels are photographed all over Ukraine with weapons, sometimes photographed shooting at police. In Syria, the US covertly provided the weapons and approved Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other “friends of Syria” to provide even more. A Russian official has accused the US of arming the Ukrainian opposition.
As in Syria, where US Ambassador Robert Ford adopted the rebels from the beginning of the insurrection, US officials have beat a steady path to the Ukrainian rebels to offer their support and assistance. Senator John McCain has even dined with Svoboda Party president Oleh Tyahnybok, shown here in a rather different pose. US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland was recorded plotting the overthrow and replacement of the Ukrainian government with the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt.
Pyatt, a man surely devoid of any sense of self-reflection, boldly proclaimed that his recorded plotting to overthrow of the Ukrainian government was merely “helping to build bridges between the government and the opposition.” Of course in a strict sense that is true: he is actively engaged in building a bridge to government power for the Ukrainian opposition.
The Syrian rebels are presented as a moderate group of would-be democrats seeking political reform; Ukrainian rebels are presented as a bunch of pro-Western, pro-EU “peaceful demonstrators.” In both cases the real power on the streets has been radical extremists with whom US officials have had considerable contact.

Embattled Ukraine: Kiev’s vicious cycle of violence rages on LIVE UPDATES
21:10 GMT: [zionist controlled] Canada is expanding sanctions against the Ukrainian government, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said in a statement. The sanctions include more travel bans for senior members of the Ukrainian administration and economic sanctions against President Viktor Yanukovich.
“Canada continues to be outraged by the ongoing violence in Ukraine. Our Government has responded by introducing a travel ban on the regime’s senior leaders and announcing medical aid to assist the protestors in their time of need. Today, our Government is taking additional action to increase pressure on the regime to end the violence,” Harper said. “We will also be imposing economic sanctions on the Yanukovich regime and its supporters.”

AT&T and IBM Partner to Connect The Internet of Things
Kevin Samson
Twin tech behemoths AT&T and IBM have announced a global partnership to apply their wide-ranging communications and technology applications into as many homes across the globe as possible.
This announcement follows Google's recent purchase of Nest Labs, a company specializing in machine intelligence that can be embedded in physical objects.
These major companies are betting big on the vision of a world matrix of embedded sensors in every home and business, in every city, that will collect and analyze information and transmit the results. Computer algorithms will then determine the best course of social engineering to be implemented by city planners, completing a new contract between humans and machines.

Bankers, Bradburys, Carnage And Slaughter On The Western Front
A little known historical fact that will collapse even further the reputation of the City of London.

Treasury Select Committee Response To The Bradbury Pound
Following a recent approach by Justin Walker regarding the reinstatement of the Bradbury Pound, the Treasury Select Committee have issued the following response.

Join Us At Westminster On Budget Day
It is Budget Day on the 19th March. George Osborne will announce to the world that everything is well, the Conservatives have saved the world, and millions of new jobs have been created since 2010.
In the meantime, two and a half million people remain out of work, over a million of them for more than six months, and Britain's productivity has fallen behind that of Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Ireland.
And while people sit idle, Britain's infrastructure continues it's terminal collapse, with people flooded out of their homes, businesses and farms, or have their property damaged by sinkholes. The main line to Plymouth is still closed as a result of the collapse of the sea wall at Dawlish, and motoring organistaions warn that we are not far from roads being closed due to the scale of the winter pothold damage.
Osborne's austerity programme is systematically taking the nation to third world status, and people sit idle.
So we would like to invite you to join us at the Houses of Parliament on the 19th March. This will not be a protest. We will not be shouting slogans or carrying banners. Rather will will be speaking to as many people as possible - passers by, journalists, any MPs not so scared of their constituents that they feel the need to call the police - about the Bradbury Pound and about the policy of national credit which it represents.
Details of where we will meet and at what time will be announced closer to the time, but in the meantime please put a note in your diary and we hope to see you there.

Syrian ‘terrorism’ and U.S. retrenchment
Eyad Abu Shakra
When I finally listened to the statements made by Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mokdad in Geneva, in which he rejected any talk of President Bashar al-Assad stepping down, I felt frustrated and tense.
My reaction was not in response to Mokdad or the Syrian government delegation at Geneva, but rather it was in response to the international community following an absurd and bloody path by pursuing a “political settlement” to the Syrian crisis. This comes after those who claimed to be “combatting terrorism” had succeeded in confusing the entire scenario.
What Mokdad said, and the tone in which he said it, likely came as no surprise to those familiar with his political history. It is nothing new to hear similar statements from his colleagues; political and media adviser to the president, Bouthaina Shaaban, Minister of Information Omran al-Zoubi and the rest of the gang, particularly with regard to the issue of the government “combatting terrorism.” What is new, however, and what has provoked surprise in many quarters, is the U.S. media reports about the al-Nusra Front—one of the extremist jihadist factions fighting Assad’s tyranny—and the direct and indirect role that Iran is playing in supporting and sponsoring this group. The reports claimed that this was taking place via two figures based out of Iran known by their noms de guerre, Jaafar al-Uzbeki and Yassin al-Suri.
It is true that reports such as this cannot be treated as conclusive evidence and, in fact, a number of figures sympathetic to the al-Nusra Front have rushed to deny these claims, denouncing them as an “American conspiracy” to undermine the Front and serve the interests of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). They say that ISIS has now been exposed as a fifth column fighting against the popular Syrian revolution, seeking to destroy its reputation. This is based on claims that the government’s air force has been reluctant to target areas and bases under ISIS control, while civilians and “real” revolutionaries are being bombarded by barrel bombs day and night.
Difficult claims to justify
Emotional expressions of this kind are understandable, and in some cases there are mitigating circumstances that can lead one to form the wrong impression. However, from a logical standpoint, such claims are difficult to justify.
It is true that ISIS has now been exposed as a result of its atrocious and suspicious transgressions. This has affected all other factions of the Syrian revolution, particularly the Islamic Front and what remains of the Free Syrian Army. However, it is also true that the al-Nusra Front publicly pledged allegiance to al-Qaeda, following which al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri explicitly announced his support for the group in the Syrian conflict, including its conflict against ISIS.
The al-Nusra Front does not deny this, and to this day it has not backed away from this relationship with al-Qaeda. At the same time, Zawahiri has also not shied away from confirming al-Qaeda’s relations with the Front.

Yemen Terrorists Behind Latest Warning and New Concerns Over Syria
The Al Qaeda affiliate in Yemen that launched the Christmas Day bombing attempt in 2009 and the explosives-laden cargo plot in 2010 is behind Wednesday’s warning to airlines around the world that terrorists could be developing new ways to smuggle “shoe bombs” and other deadly devices onto planes, sources told ABC News.
But what may be concerning U.S. officials even more is a covert plan by the group, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, to shepherd American and European fighters to war-ravaged Syria, where they would receive paramilitary training and learn how to handle explosives, ABC News has learned.
The group – commonly called AQAP – has launched a systematic campaign online and elsewhere to recruit Westerners from countries that have visa-waiver agreements with the United States, making it easier for them to travel back to their home countries, sources said.
U.S. officials have recently sounded the alarm over the threat posed by foreign fighters heading to Syria, but they have never tagged AQAP as a source for some of their concern.
Complicating what he called the “apocalyptic disaster” in Syria are the more than 7,500 foreign fighters there from 50 countries around the world, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told a Senate committee last week. And, he warned, among the foreign fighters is a group of Al Qaeda veterans from Afghanistan and Pakistan “who have aspirations for external attack in Europe, if not the [U.S.] homeland itself.”

US policy on Syria aids terrorism: Moscow
Damascus - Moscow accused Washington of prolonging the Syrian conflict by supporting the opposition ahead of a UN Security Council vote on Saturday that threatens to further deepen big power divisions.
On the ground, a car bomb exploded at a border crossing between Syria and Turkey as rebels battled to prevent government forces from seizing their last stronghold in the strategic Qalamun region.
And Syria's government media said Jordan was seeking to stir up the southern front in the country's conflict after a stalemate in peace talks held in Geneva this month.
Speaking in Baghdad on Thursday, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said America's policy on Syria "encourages extremists who are financing terrorism and supplying terrorist organisations and groups with weapons".
"In the end, this will not result in anything except the escalation of the Syrian conflict," he said in remarks translated from Russian into Arabic.

UK Green Party: ‘Ecoloons’ with totalitarian mentality
Britain’s ‘ecoloons’ have exceeded their usual compost policy, borrowing a move straight from the Nazi playbook - a purge of anybody who challenges green dogma.
In a step towards a Chairman Mao-style cultural revolution in British life, the large mouthed, small mandate, Green Party has just made the outrageous demand that any government official who does not agree with unproven climate change theories must be summarily removed from office. Worryingly, despite the clear totalitarian connotations of a ‘Green pogrom’ against anybody disagreeing with their dogma, an array of liberal British media, such as the perennially liberal BBC, have been mute in even questioning such an excessive proposal, which falls foul of all basic democratic principles.

Support for Scottish independence picks up: Poll
According to a new poll, support for Scottish independence has picked up, despite warnings that Scots would not be able to keep the pound if they leave the UK in the upcoming referendum.
The poll of 1,005 people by Survation, published on Thursday, showed 38-percent support for pro-independence campaign, up from 32 percent in January.
Pro-union support, however, fell five points to 47 percent. Sixteen percent were also undecided.
The poll also shows only if a small portion of Scotland's four million voters change their minds, the scales will tip in favor of breaking away from the UK after more than 300 years of political union.

Iran, Britain officially resume diplomatic relations
Iran and the United Kingdom have officially resumed direct diplomatic relations that were severed in 2011, Press TV reports.
“After the meeting of our ministers in last September in New York, they agreed to re-establish the relations between Iran and the UK. In the next step, they introduced two chargés d’affaires and from today 20th February we start our direct contact with each other. Then, right now, there is a direct relation between the two countries,” said Iran’s non-resident chargé d’affaires to Britain, Mohammad Hassan Habibollahzadeh, on Thursday.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and British Foreign Secretary William Hague met in New York in September 2013, during which they discussed ways to improve Tehran-London ties based on mutual respect.
Iran and Britain agreed in October last year to appoint non-resident chargés d’affaires as a first step towards reopening their respective embassies.

Iran boosts military support in Syria to bolster Assad
By Jonathan Saul and Parisa Hafezi
LONDON/ANKARA (Reuters) - As Syria's war nears the start of its fourth year, Iran has stepped up support on the ground for President Bashar al-Assad, providing elite teams to gather intelligence and train troops, sources with knowledge of military movements say.
This further backing from Tehran, along with deliveries of munitions and equipment from Moscow, is helping to keep Assad in power at a time when neither his own forces nor opposition fighters have a decisive edge on the battlefield.
They don't read the same sources I do.
